Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know how to swim?

No - all rafters wear life jackets and are accompanied by certified safety kayakers. Non-swimmers raft every day. That said, basic comfort in water is helpful.

Is bungee jumping safe?

Yes. The Nile High Bungee is operated by Adrift, one of Africa's most experienced adventure operators, with international safety certifications. Weight limit: 110kg.

What should I bring?

Swimwear, a change of clothes, sunscreen, a hat, water shoes or old trainers, and a small dry bag for valuables. We provide all rafting gear.

Can this be combined with a safari?

Absolutely - Jinja is just 2 hours from Kampala, making it a perfect add-on at the start or end of a longer safari. Ask about combo packages.
